Artist's Comments
You know that line in the Corpse Bride, where all of the dead are coming out into the town, and one old lady suddenly recognises one of the dead people as her husband, and is like, "BUT YOU'VE BEEN DEAD FOR X YEARS"
and he replies with, "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn." (And gone with the wind, obv.) This is something like that... but without the kiss after the line. xD I understood and respected that the old DM kumos was much beloved, but it needed a change. Even the people who loved the kumos understood that. Most of them decided beforehand that they were going to like it. I did my best to preserve the old one, but still make it new. Whether or not you guys are happy with it... Well, that's another story. I'm pleased with myself, because I know I did my best for both sides. I'm alright with knowing that 90% of old kumos owners are probably changing their pet right now. I've done my part. I did my best during production. Now that it is released, I don't have anything else to do for it. If you love it, great, if you don't, that's just fine. It isn't going to hurt my feelings.  |

You kept the overall look, there's the long legs, that feeling of perspective, that it's standing just slightly above you looking down.
The body just looks so much more powerful now,the structure and everything. There's more force to it.
OH AND I LOVE THE TAIL FOR SOME REASON. <3 I don't know why that's capslocked, but there we go. Awesome.

In my opinion because of the whole fuss i would have called for a whole new pose but i understand loads of people were in love with the pose. its a great pose.

Whoa, ok you did an amazing job. I was one of those people who have decided that they would like the new kumos weather it changed poses or not but you did a really good job. seems people really do approve with all the comments ive read.
