Now that the deadline (PIcecapades) is over, I can upload this! XD
I had a serious time crunch, (*shakes fist at school,) and didn't have time to work on this at all after doing the sketch until yesterday. I knew I needed LOTS of time to do what I wanted, so... the colouring on Atlas is really subpar. I would say it's lousy on the background too, but I DID a background, and am proud of that fact, so I'm not going to say whats wrong with it. xD (Despite it being the exact same problem all over.) <s>My image</s> Atlas is somewhat flat becaauuuuse... I didn't use any complimentary colours in the shading. I didn't even shade, I just highlighted, since I'm afraid the judges might have puny weakling screens. /schwarshenugget If I had this entire weekend to work on it, this would have been much better. I would have played with the colours SO MUCH MORE. But it was fun anyway. Atlas is one of my favvies, so drawing him was a blast. xD (Can you imagine walking in the wind with those wings? Atlas is very strong to not be pulled off the track. *_*) Edit: I won first place with this image. 8D |
