Be safe tonight, guys. Dallas isn't under a tornado warning yet, but it seems to be a pretty close thing. Severe thunderstorm warning, and tornado watch has been on all night. For those of you who are in the path of these winds and rain and hail.

For everyone not watching the weather/not in the path of these storms/not in the US: there's a pretty huge path for this forming tornado. Pea to quarter dollar size hail. 60-70 mph winds. (I believe they're up to 90, in Arkansas.) It's just not pretty.

My mother, thankfully, had her plane land and got home right before this started hitting downtown. I'm glad to have her home and safe with me. I have friends in less than safe areas, as well. (Wow. I can hear something like five or six car alarms that just went off all at once, because of the weather.)

I love you guys. Stay warm.

(+3 more car alarms with that last roll there.)

Edit:
The storm has passed away from my area, and away from most of the people I know/love. News 8 did a lovely job keeping me updated, when my power wasn't out. I believe 15 people have died already.

It's been raining a lot here ... haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary, but I better see what's up for SE Texas.

I'm in an orange area. My power has cut out a few times. At the moment, I'm in a lull. I think the worst of the storm is supposed to last for half an hour or a bit more, but it's all coming in waves. I know there have been a few deaths in Oklahoma, some injuries here and there. There's a pretty widespread area of damage.

Strangely, what is the most unnerving, to me, is the behaviour of my dogs. They're all huddled together, and get very unhappy if I leave the room, and wont come out of here.

It passed right over my area, hope everyone else was OK. As I was walking into the house one single piece of hail happen to fall in my direction and pelted me right between the eyes. How is that possible? Out of all the places for ice to fall it had to fall where I was. So messed up.

Oh man, that's really scary. D: I'm so glad no one you know got hurt.
Tornadoes are one of my worst fears... despite the fact that I was a toddler the last time we had any around here. ^^; -fail-

We coulddd attach the needle to the pog and use it as a compass, since my sword doesn't work in the dark.
