So my eldest sister had back surgery about a month ago. Despite showing some bad signs about two weeks ago, the doctors told her she just needed to heal. She went back today, again, and they realized, "oh, your spinal fluid is leaking."

Argh, my poor sister. My family has sort of been playing jack in the box, one person staying with her for one week, someone else staying with her for the next.

I know we're only into the third month, but 2009 is really not showing a whole lot of promise as being an enjoyable year for.. ..uh, /anyone./

Well, no, that's not true. The other sister, the very pregnant one is having a good few months. She has a parasite (aka, baby) growing inside of her, but that's something to celebrate, really. No, really.

Anyway. I'm going to call for a vote. Anyone else want to kick 2009 out of office and vote in a replacement? y/y?

Otherwise, I'm okay. I've felt bad for neglecting DA as much as I have since... what, November? I hope everything is going well for everyone. I'm happy! Preoccupied and a little worried for my sister, but happy. c:

Ohman. Unrelated, I've started trying to do a bit of sketchblogging as a personal project. Not really spreading the blog around, but just.. want to be able to hold /myself/ accountable, and watch myself improve. If you have a character (human or animal or otherwise,) you wouldn't mind me sketching, link me up! (I can't promise I'll do it, but I'll try.)
