I didn't notice this until I stumbled across the journal by =checkered-fadora, and thought I'd spread the news to my watchers, if any of you were interested in buying it and had been putting it off.

Portal Graphics (The people who make opencanvas) will be discontinuing their English sales and customer support.

This is a huge shame, in my opinion. I absolutely love opencanvas. Almost all of my personal art is done in OC. I've always supported them (Yes, each time I upgrade, I've bought and paid for it legally, pff.) and looked forward to updates. I know it wouldn't be too hard to deal with the program in Japanese, but I have needed customer support from them before (Which wasn't the best, but I muddled through the engrish and they were patient with me!) and I don't exactly speak japanese (yet.) XD

I know OC isn't for everyone, but if you've been thinking about it and were hesitating on buying it, you might want to hurry and do it soon.
